TOA Corporation (headquarters: Kobe, Japan; president: Takanori Yoshikawa) is pleased to announce the exhibition of its splash-proof hand-held megaphone at the "Milano Salone" to be held in Milan, Italy over 6 days from April 22, 2009.

The "Milano Salone" is one of the world's largest design festivals, attracting numerous buyers and media from around the world as a place to exchange the latest information on design. TOA will display its splash-proof hand-held megaphone in the Japan Design Selection 2009 show to be held by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization as part of the Milano Salone exhibition. The splash-proof megaphone was developed in collaboration with London-based industrial designer Shin Azumi, and won Japan's Good Design Award in 2005.

Designer Shin Azumi Azumi has been designing TOA products, mainly speakers and megaphones, since 1999, and has so far been responsible for 35 models. Of these, a total of seven have won Japan's prestigious Good Design Award, including the splash-proof hand-held megaphone that will be entered at this year's Milano Salone.
